A PSYCHIATRIST who hosted a toga party at which a guest died from a drugs overdose was struck off yesterday.
Dr Clint Tatchell found accountant David Steel, 30, dead in his bed in his luxury flat in Port Dundas, Glasgow.
Detectives later discovered Mr Steel had taken a lethal cocktail of drugs, including ecstasy, heroin, cocaine and diazepam (valium) tablets, during the three-day party in September 2003. The General Medical Council (GMC) had earlier found Dr Tatchell guilty of "dishonest" behaviour when he tidied his flat before police arrived after it was discovered that Mr Steel was dead.
