A DRUG-smuggling lawyer dubbed Ally McDeal has had her sentence deferred -because she's lll.
Angela Baillie is receiving treatment for depression.
A judge was told that the 32-year-old won't be fit to attend court for several weeks.
Shamed brief Baillie checked into a clinic shortly after admitting smuggling £1600 worth of heroin and valium to a client in Glasgow's Barlinnie Prison.
She was caught handing over a cigarette packet stuffed with the drugs to an inmate.
Baillie, of Newton Mearns, near Glasgow, was due to appear at the High Court in Edinburgh for sentence yesterday.
But Paul McBride, defending, produced a medical certificate saying she was unfit.
Experts believe Baillie, who has a history of psychiatric problems, was suffering from diminished responsibility when the offence happened.
Baillie is also fighting a court action to seize her assets.
The Crown have probed her financial affairs over the last six years and claim she has made £52,556 from drug dealing.
