When police walked into the apartment, they saw five pill bottles on the kitchen table.

In the dining room, 21 bottles sat on a microwave cart. In the master bedroom, five pill bottles were in a nightstand drawer, and on the stand was a plastic tray with white powder, later found to be cocaine.

Matt Doyle, an investigator with the Harris County Medical Examiner's office, said forensic pathologist Dr. Kathy Haden-Pinneri had ruled on the cause and manner of the death of Rhonda Kay Walker after reviewing tissue toxicology tests.

“Ms. Walker's death has been ruled accidental due to the combined toxic effects of cocaine, morphine and Diazepam,” Doyle said.
